A 30-year-old hotelier was shot dead by two men arrived on a motorbike at a hotel in Pilimathalawa last night, Police said.
They said the victim was pronounced dead on admission to the Peradeniya Hospital. The victim was identified as Sanjaya Bandara Herath, a resident of Nanuoya Pilimathalawa. The motive of the killing was yet to be ascertained and no suspects have been identified. Peradeniya Police are investigating.
