Former Minister of Mahinda Rajapaksa regime Wimal Weerawansa has been arrested by the FCID today.
FCID recently told Court that investigations carried out so far had revealed that Wimal Weerawansa who was the Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities of the Mahinda Rajapaksa regime had misused 58 vehicles of the Presidential Secretariat.

He was summoned to FCID today to record a statement from him and was arrested after recording the statement.He is to be produced before a Court today.
