National Freedom Front (NFF) Anuradhapura District MP Weerakumara Dissanayake vowed that someday PM Ranil Wickremesinghe will also be incarcerated for having colluded in the Central Bank (CB) bond scam.
The NFF MP stated that it had been clearly mentioned in the COPE Committee report with written evidence that PM Wickremesinghe had clearly influenced those allegedly involved in the said scam.
Dissanayake said that if his party leader was sent to jail over influencing the misuse of State vehicles then a similar charge also ought to be brought against the PM as well.
He also warned that by the time the probe into the CB bond scam is over, the PM should be ready to wear the prisoner's attire of a white jumper.
