The Wild Life Department officials have nabbed a group of people who were trying to sell Rupees 100 million worth Valampuri Conch at Kalkudha with the assistance of the STF on confidential information received by STF of Potuvi, Panama and Sasthirawela the suspects were arrested were arrested Monday evening (24).
The one and a half foot conch and the suspects are to be produced in courts yesterday (24) said OIC Wild Life Department S. Sureshkumar. The suspects are from Pollanaruwa, Valaichchenai and Matale.
