Tax on imported potatoes and onions increased

The special commodity tax on an imported kilogram of potatoes and big onions have been increased by Rs. 20 from today. The new tax on an imported kilogram of big onions will be Rs. 25, while a kilogram of potatoes will be taxed Rs. 35.
