Veyangoda police arrested a man of 47 years, who is alleged to have sexually abused his own brother’s daughter – a schoolgirl (10) at Dadagamuwa in Veyangoda recently. Police inquiries revealed that the suspect had abused the girl on several occasions, when her parents were away from home.
Girl was admitted to Wathupitiwala hospital by police, for a medical examination.Suspect was due to be produced before courts.Veyangoda police are investigating.
