Documents related toillegal transactions by top officials will be disclosed to the public in the near future,JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka said.
“From the President to the member of the Pradeshiya Sabha and certain businessmen, documents will be disclosed to the public,” he said yesterday (26).He said political stability can only be created by giving the people the opportunity for a new Government, whether or not political parties approve. “A large number of proposals have been made that this President should step down and form a short-term interim Government. A general election should be held shortly and an opportunity should be given to build a stable Government,” he added. Finding solutions to the current crisis is only a postponement in this parliament, he claimed.
“People should not tolerate the ‘Aiya-Malo Nadagama’ which has destabilised the country completely. They created chaos, created a huge food shortage for the people and continued.
The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna is ready to take a number of actions to oust these rulers for the people.”
