The former SL envoy stands accused of being involved in misappropriating large sums of money through the MIG aircraft purchase for the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The FCID making submissions to Court stated that Interpol has been alerted to the need to apprehend the suspect in connection with this charge.
The FCID told Court the probe had revealed the suspect was currently in hiding in the UAE, but that they were still not able to trace him to a permanent address.
The case was put off to 7 April.
