The new Cabinet of Ministers is to be sworn in next week and it will be limited to 20 members, including the Prime Minister, informed sources said.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the Ministers to be appointed that they will be allowed to use only one security vehicle.
The Prime Minister has also informed that no Minister will be allowed to use police vehicles. He has also said that even the backup of vehicles given to Ministers will be not allowed after the protests in the country subside.
It is reported that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will retain the Finance Ministry portfolio.
It was reported that all the new ministers have agreed to the request made by the Prime Minister to forego additional privileges and perks.
