Anura Kumara reveals extensive details of corruption


Leader of the JVP Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake today revealed extensive details of incidents of corruption in the country.

Speaking during a media briefing at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, MP Dissanayake said corrupt incidents reported internationally link Sri Lanka as well.

President gives nod to form an interim all-party govt


President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has extended an invitation to form an all-party government comprising all political parties represented in the Parliament, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said in a statement issued today regarding the meeting held with party leaders and representatives who now sit independently in Parliament.

The discussion was held at the President’s House in Colombo this morning.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa says he is, on principle, willing to form an all-party government with the political parties representing the parliament.

He conveyed this in a letter directed to the political party leaders representing the ruling faction.
